Makeup
There are times when my own makeup skills just don’t quite cut it, and this is where Jasmin French comes in. I’ve got a party to go to, and it’s definitely not the time or place for a no-makeup makeup look. I want drama, crystals, colour, lashes, the works. I go in with an idea in my head and they more than bring it to life: I walk away with more glitter and sparkle than the cast of Strictly, contouring to rival a Kardashian and eyelashes I could touch the ceiling with. Now, where’s the prosecco?

Glitter nails
A design-led nail workshop known for their custom nail art, Buff Concept Store’s minimal and industrial style space is as stylish as it is relaxing, so I’m always more than happy to spend time there having my nails pampered.I’m open to ideas, my only caveat being maximum shimmer. I’m given a pretty nude pink shellac manicure, dipped in glitter, with a couple of holographic stars thrown in for good measure. Perfect.

Hair Dazzle
My personal holy grail is a swishy, shiny, sparkly mane of glossy hair, and now thanks to Kaye MacKay, I – and a small army of Glasgow girls-in-the-know – can have exactly that. The minute I spotted this trend on Instagram I was hooked. Hair Dazzle is glittering tinsel strands, available in a rainbow of colours, tied (not bonded or glued) into hair. They last from 3 to 6 weeks, and hair can be brushed, washed, straightened and curled as normal, along with the dazzles. Be prepared to be stopped in the street a lot, and asked where to get them.
