The loch-side retail complex and visitor attraction is situated just 20 minutes from Glasgow and is open all year round, and this summer they’ve got a packed schedule of events for all ages.

Visitors to Loch Lomond Shores can browse big brand names such as Jenners, a House of Fraser department store, as well as independent fashion, beauty and home accessories boutiques. Then admire the stunning views of the loch and Ben Lomond whilst enjoying a light bite or fine dining experience.

Animal lovers can explore the Loch Lomond SEA LIFE Centre and Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre, whilst the more energetic can try their hand at adventure golf, challenge themselves with water activities, set off on a nature trail or head to TreeZone, the aerial adventure ropes course.

Loch Lomond Shores regularly hosts a variety of events including a bustling farmers’ market on the first and third Sunday of each month, and seasonal food and drink festivals throughout the year. There’s plenty for the little ones to get involved in, including face painting, storytelling and a mini petting zoo.

New for summer 2016 is the Island Discovery Waterbus from Clyde Cruises, sailing Wednesday to Sunday throughout July and August. Departing from Loch Lomond Shores, the service sails to Inchmurrin and Inchcailloch. Relax on-board then hop off to explore the islands.
