Surprise tasting menus at The Pompadour
Since opening its doors in 1925 The Pompadour has gained a reputation as one of the capitals most magnificent dining rooms. Indeed, if it weren't for the view of the castle, you could be forgiven for thinking you had been transported back to a dining room in the Palace of Versailles.
But we're not here to talk interiors - spectacular as they may be - but rather the food, the four and eight-course tasting menus to be precise. Put together by dynamic duo, Head Chef, Dan Ashmore and Restaurant Manager, Joshua Mullock, the menus reflect their combined Michelin star experience and feature locally sourced ingredients, paired with the perfect wine accompaniments.
From Braised Pork cheek with Scottish Langoustine to Venison Tartar, Kombu and Confit Egg, Chef Dan selects only the highest quality ingredients available each day and carefully prepares them in a way that allows the flavours to speak for themselves.
