Edinburgh Wellbeing Festival 2020 at the Assembly Rooms, George Street
Tickets are available now for the feel-good festival, which returns to Assembly Rooms on February 1st and 2nd to help you kickstart your year, which, if you're anything like us, is a lifesaver after a heavy Christmas and New Year.
The festival will feature some of the biggest names in wellbeing, covering everything from vegan and plant-based diets, physical fitness and yoga, to menopause, mindfulness, mental health and dementia. Key themes this year are loneliness, the importance of community, the power of music, and how physical activity impacts on our mental health.
Headline speakers include Olympic Gold Medalist Dame Kelly Holmes MBE, award-winning cookery writer and anti-poverty campaigner Jack Monroe, Buddhist monk and bestselling author Gelong Thubten, BBC Doctor Rangan Chatterjee, Instagram’s favourite parents Mother and Papa Pukka, and world-renowned Professor of Neuropsychopharmacology, David Nutt.
Fitness classes are suitable for all levels and include yoga star Steffy White (pictured), Pilates PT instructor Hollie Grant, celebrity trainer and Nike Ambassador Faisal Abdalla, and Dame Kelly Holmes who will be running one of the first of her new Military in Motion classes.
All this, as well as music, workshops, heaps of amazing wellness products, treatments and delicious food mean that this year's Edinburgh Wellbeing Festival is shaping up to be the biggest (and healthiest) yet!
