The Betway New Year’s Day Raceday promises to be a great day out for the whole family filled with great racing with a programme of over £100,000, live music, a thrilling DJ set from the Funkwagen, two cosy marquees, The New Year Sprint (the most historic athletic event in the world) and plenty of festive food and drink.

WHAT'S NEW

Take a break from the Jump racing, soak up the party atmosphere and warm up in seasonal flavour with mulled cider and pork brioche rolls, amongst other festive bites. As well as two cosy marquees, there’s exclusive Yurts available to hire for that unique experience. The Yurts, which can accommodate parties of 12, include a welcome drink and canapes on arrival, a private seating area plus heating. There’s also live Scottish music from Reel Time in between races and Funkwagen will be hosting the After-Racing Party.

And if you need any more persuading then the dedicated return bus services* from Edinburgh, Penicuik, Dalkeith, Dunbar, Haddington, Galashiels and Galashiels to the racecourse is sure to seal the deal. Tickets to the hugely popular raceday are now available for purchase alongside the ticket-only bus service which is predicted to sell out fast.

Buses depart from Edinburgh at 11.15am, Galashiels 10am, Gorebridge 10.45am, Dunbar 10.15am and Haddington 10.40am, Penicuik 10.30am and Dalkeith 11am with departures 4pm.
